From January to May 2025, SystemSage Solutions successfully deployed its Smart Precision Agriculture System at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Organization (BARI), Jamalpur. This government institute-owned initiative showcases the strength, reliability, and resilience of our solution in real-world field conditions.
Hardware Uptime: 100%
Despite Bangladesh’s fog-heavy winter, our solar-powered system ran flawlessly. Thanks to robust energy storage and power management, no power-related interruptions occurred.
Software Stability: Zero Downtime
The cloud-integrated platform maintained continuous operation, enabling seamless data logging, visualization, and remote monitoring.
Connectivity
Minor network issues occurred due to poor cellular coverage in specific zones—but the system continued logging data offline without interruption.
The system captured consistent temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure data:
Temperature: From 11.3°C in January to 34°C in May, reflecting the seasonal shift from winter to pre-monsoon.
Humidity: Dropped to 73.67% in February, with expected day-night fluctuations.
Key soil parameters—moisture, temperature, pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium—were tracked accurately:
Moisture: Peaked at 55.2% during irrigation; dipped below 20% during dry spells.
Soil Temperature: Increased from 11°C to over 30°C.
pH: Mostly neutral (~7), with temporary drops to 4–6 post-fertilization.
NPK Levels: Nitrogen up to 15 mg/kg; phosphorus 81 mg/kg; potassium 73 mg/kg.
Note: Zero readings only occurred during sensor removal for plowing—not due to system errors.
Field Scientific Officer Mr. Shahadat Hossain Anik shared:
Instant access to soil data that previously took days or weeks.
Enabled data-driven decisions for crop management.
Tomato cultivation trials yielded highly satisfactory results.
This deployment demonstrates the field-readiness and reliability of SystemSage’s smart agriculture platform. We are proud to support the digital transformation of agriculture in Bangladesh, delivering scalable, climate-resilient solutions for modern farming.
